Carpal tunnel syndrome, or median nerve compression, happens due to pressure on the median nerve, which goes through a passage in your wrist called the carpal tunnel, and ends in your hand. It causes numbness, weakness, or tingling.
This condition is very common with IT professionals and others with a high amount of screen time (8-10 hours).
Treatment is managed either conservatively (without surgery) or by surgery (Reconstruction). In both cases, physiotherapy is very important to regain strength, range of motion, and daily life functional activities.
Complete rest is generally recommended and with online physiotherapy, you can get treated from the comfort of your home.
